Job Description
- Develop written procedures for quality control/quality assurance;
- Perform needed tests on sample and in the laboratory to ensure conformity of Oil and works according to the specifications
- Supervise the factory works including quantity measurement, quality, and variation
- Establish and maintain procedures to develop standard documentation for Oil production and quality control and assurance
- Review the existing standard documentation for the Operations and propose any improvements deemed necessary
- Develop standard quality control procedures to be performed by the Chemists
- Develop a procedure to establish norms to define the manufacturing-alternatives that will be evaluated for each operation process task.
- Preferably many manufacturing -alternatives should be evaluated for each oil production task
- Develop and conduct robust procedures for quality assurance;
- Assess work activities for which labor based operation methods are appropriate and for those sections where heavy machinery is appropriate;
- Supervision of the chemists in the implementation of the work;
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by immediate boss.
Job Requirements
- MSc/BSc degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Food Science or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 6/8 years experience for MSc/BSc respectively in Edible Oil or Consumable items manufacturing or food processing Factory
- Basic computer application, planning, leading, organizing, controlling and Reporting skill
