Job Description

At ABIG, knowledge of our Customers, operating environment and Competition landscape is key in designing unique RTM solutions.

The role holder is then expected to

Primary responsibility of this role is to align, review and direct the best sales and operations practices to best suit the local project markets and ensure various parties are aligned (management, sales, distributors etc).

The nature of this role requires a vast amount of travel and you would be spending up to 90% of your working time in trade running impulse marketing projects from initial research and analysis to planning, pilot and implementation/handover stage before moving on to the next trade area.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales teams to map out long term goals to ensure sales and operations strategies align.
  • Decide, recommend and adjust various operational strategies based on multiple market learning’s to refine best practice to local market needs.
  • Highlight and mitigate areas of non-performance and potential project gaps while prioritizing those needing action and escalation to prevent delays in execution.
  • Initiate, review and manage various sales and operational strategies to keep in line with global best practice and maintain efficiency in various local markets.
  • Follow up on previously executed markets to ensure local teams are routinely settled and comfortable with new operational and sales practices
  • Generate and define RTM metrics dashboard and monitor distributors dashboard performance
  • Measure the effectiveness of every RTM initiative and do course corrections wherever required

Job Requirements

Educational Requirement

  • BA Degree in Marketing Management, Management or related field of study

Required Capabilities

  • 6 – 8 Years’ over all experience in FMCG Sales function
  • Preferably minimum 2 years prior experience in handling RTM / Trade Marketing / Sales Development experience
  • Prior experience of RTM project implementation
  • High result & execution orientation
  • Project Management Skills
  • Adept at Influencing and networking
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in preparing impactful power point presentations & excel reports
  • Ability to navigate through changing environment and related ambiguity
  • Being comfortable working to ambitious deadlines and targets, and thrive in pressurized, competitive working environments.
  • A good understanding of RTMprojects
  • A good team leading capability
