Position: Director of Human Resources (HR Director)

Reports To: General Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all human resource functions of our hotel. The successful candidate will provide strategic HR leadership, ensure compliance with Ethiopian labour laws, strengthen employee engagement, and support the delivery of exceptional guest service through effective people management.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR experience , preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• At least 5 years in a senior HR management or leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labour law, employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and performance management.
• Experience in luxury or five-star hotel operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Amharic is an advantage.
