Purpose of the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales and marketing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to increase revenue, expand market share, and strengthen the company’s brand presence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Approve and monitor the development and implementation of Companywide marketing, customer experience, sales and distribution strategy.
  • Lead the processes of understanding customer expectations, attitudes, behaviors, intentions, and needs and perform customer segmentation.
  • Oversee effective branding, customer communication, and customer experience insights research.
  • Approve the development and review of pricing policy for newly customized and existing products.
  • Oversee the consistent and accurate application of pricing guidelines and policies and the management of the pricing appeals.
  • Lead the development of relationship strategy including sales, retention, pricing strategies.
  • Oversee the development of sales leads and strategy for entering new geographic areas.
  • Lead the design of an overall distribution strategy for the Company.
  • Liaison with different stakeholders to ensure networks are built, sales campaigns are prospected and run and new opportunities are developed accordingly.
  • Lead the development of collaborative working relationships within the organization in pursuit of the company’s overall business goals.
  • Lead the design and implementation of an integrated logistics and fleet strategy in alignment with the Company’s strategic direction.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for investment on fleet to enhance the Company’s logistics operational capabilities.
  • Oversee the proper management of alliances and partners within integrated logistics channel.
  • Manage function dedicated capabilities on marketing, sales, logistics and customer relationship for enterprise-wide practice standardization and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor strategic performance of the function.

Generic Duties of the Position:

  • Prepare the Function’s work plan and monitor their execution.
    • Develop, approve and monitor the Function’s budgets.
    • Identify human resources requirements of the Function and develop plan for meeting the requirements.
    • Develop policies and procedures for the Function and lead in their implementation and continuous review.
    • Review and submit Function reports to relevant organs.
    • Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.
    • Oversee the systematic identification of skill and competency requirements for the Function.
    • Manage disciplinary concerns of the Function’s staff.
    • Represent the Company in external relationships related with the Function.
    • Take part in the group decision making process by forming part of different groups/committees.
About You

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or related fields with eighteen (18) years of demonstrated experience out of which four (9) years in a managerial position

    Or

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields twenty (20) years of demonstrated experience of which five (10) years in a managerial position.
