Rubis Energy Ethiopia Ltd PLC (formerly Kobil Ethiopia Ltd PLC) wants to recruit for the following vacant position.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overall running of operations department’ functions. The job holder is required to play a major role for effective and efficient performance of the department.
MAJOR DUTIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: –
- Managing and supporting the operations team by defining precise operational processes with a focus on strong operational execution and results.
- Managing all company’s logistics including transportation, distribution, and maintenance.
- Optimize the fleet requirements to ensure all orders are timely serviced.
- Managing all stocks movement to and from the various depots/terminals/service stations and ensuring accurate accounting.
- Follow up and closure of maintenance calls within the prescribed timelines.
- Review site development plans, BOQ, tender documents ensuring conformity to the company’s standards.
- Supervising works of contractors to ensure that works are performed according to contracts and standards.
- Lead in implementation of HSE as per group standards
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRMENTS
- B.Sc in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or any related field from a recognized University
- 5 years of experience in related field and at least two years in managerial position.
- Ability to work in a team under strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
