Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To carry out surveys of property and sites to provide information for building construction, alterations, valuations, land use and map making
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measure and map land using specialized equipment, such as GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners,
- Prepare reports and documentation of survey results,
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that surveys meet project requirements,
- Resolve survey discrepancies and errors,
- Maintain accurate records of survey data,
- Performs mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.
- Markes and delineates boundaries and reference points on a property or section of land,
- Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs,
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
Job Requirements
Qualification and Skills
- BSc or MSc in Surveying or related field of studies
Experience:
- 2 years for BSc
- 0 years for MSc
Skills:
- Analytical skills
- Communication skills,
