Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To advise on financial and contractual issues relating to bills of quantities provided in relation to material supplied for construction projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Draw up contracts specifying nature and quantity of raw materials required,
- Review tenders received and advice contract admin team on which to accept,
- Draw up detailed cost plans and advise site engineers on the limits they must work to in terms of quantity and quality,
- Keep client informed of project costs and discuss and agree any proposed variation,
- Measure and value work in progress to ensure that it is within the agreed parameters,
- Measure and value completed project and authorize payment provided the contract is within the agreed specifications,
- Maintain an awareness of developments in the field of quantity,
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Skills
- BSc or MSc in Surveying or related field of studies
Experience
- 5years for BSc
- 3years for MSc
Skills:
- Analytical skills
- Communication skills
