Job Description

Purpose:

  • The incumbent is responsible for Machines performance analyses, process control and improvement programs. Streamlining machines cleaning structures, maintenance, and approaches to improve its implementation from operational to technical level. Facilitate intensive trains relevant people on best way to perform cleaning. Oversee implementation of preventive maintenance plans their documentation. Overall management of the GSC suggestion system by ensuring the KPI is met as per plan.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Avoid safety incidents by ensure ‘zero safety incidents’ mentality and culture in his/her area
  • Avoid quality incidents by ensure ‘zero quality incidents’ mentality and culture in his/her area
  • Performs loss and failure analyzes and implements action plans; Controls the results to confirm the effectiveness of actions. Development and implementation of improvement programs (focusing on stop-elimination) – RG-PDCA cycle to deliver planned outputs.
  • Responsible to perform Machines Downtime & Breakdown Analyses as well as Machines Rejections analyses, share with relevant teams and propose implementable solutions to improve machines performance. Performs loss and failure analyzes and implements action plans; Controls the results to confirm the effectiveness of actions.
  • Involve in 5S3R implementation, provides support for his/her team & it’s activities in the Manufacturing Department. Participates in internal audits in accordance with the established procedure for 5S3R.
  • Responsible for machine cleaning standardization and departmental 5S3R implementation. Ensure that all operators are well trained on how to clean machines effectively using the established standards, guidelines, catalogs, and checklists. Standardize shift start, week start, mid shifts, and deep cleaning practices.
  • Plans basic maintenance tasks with a team of specialists. Responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance plans and ensuring that all machines’ preventive maintenance plans are carried out as planned. Documenting significant changes in machine performance improvements during preventive and corrective maintenance implementation to ensure minimal recurrence. To accelerate effective management decision making, present the findings and improvements to relevant teams.
  • Responsible to coordinate, attends or conducts meetings for an LCO area
  • Ensure the consistent availability of the team with adequate skill levels. Training and development of employees. Assist in implementation of ISO/EHS systems in shop floor and coordinate shop floor trainings.
  • Perform Machine Data Collection downloads and analysis. Together with technical team, QM and EN investigate the root causes of Chronic problems, analysis and come up with sustainable solution
  • Responsible for implementation of GSC Innovate suggestions system: Deliver this through effective training and coaching of all key plays of suggestion system including suggestions experts and coordinators.

  • Productivity – Improve line performance through systematic elimination of OEE losses & root cause analysis
  • Support Priority Setting through Daily Direction Setting and effective escalation of issues
  •  Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BSC degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields

Work experience:

  • 3+ years related working experiences.

Functional Skills:

  • Manufacturing Performance Management, Product knowledge/Process knowledge, Process control & Automation knowledge, Team management and technical background, Production Planning Machinery Knowledge, Good Communication Skills.

Knowledge:

  • Automation knowledge is mandatory
  • Intermediate level English (Oral and written), MS Office- confident user
  • Technological processes of production and technical characteristics of production equipment’s,
  • Requirements for the organization of workplaces in accordance with the 5S3R rules.
  • Production indicators and methods of their calculations.
  • Key parameters of quality and specifications of products.
  • Basics and rules for using application programs used by the employer (SAP, QIMS, GSCA, BITL, Innovate).
  • Knowledge of the computer at the advanced level.
  • Basics of office work.
  • Basics of ethics, rules of business communication.
  •  Knowledge of Collective Labor Agreement, Internal Regulations and Safety policies of the company.
