Job Description

  • Ensure Staff records are accurately maintained and updated regularly in line with data protection
  • Line manage the HR and logistic staff
  • Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential data
  •  Oversee the collecting of time sheets, summarizing for payroll action feed and filing.
  • Contribute to the organization’s budgetary planning(s)
  • Manage the preparation of Payroll action for all staff payroll to ensure timely disbursement of salaries or other employee benefits by ensuring leave and time sheet tracking for updating any payroll changes accurately and timely.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated in line with legal requirements
  • Provide advice to staff and managers in relation to Salary, taxation, Life and accident Insurance.
  •  Ensure compliance with local legislation across the HR department
  • Provide support and advice on organization’s manual, policies and procedures
  •  Advise management in developing staff focused training and development programs
  • Advise and support the management in addressing employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Lead on the collection of annual leave plans from managers for staff managing and prepare annual roster accordingly, supported by HR Officer
  • Organize annual appraisal and performance reviews, Collect and submit the filled forms to HQ
  • Respond to employees’ questions about terms and conditions
  • Collect information and prepare reports on HR and logistics updates
  • Inform SMT if there is any new law or regulation released by the government, any major HR concerns that need immediate action
  •   Advise the in country team on recruitment process and staff induction, as well as continual review
  • Advise on and develop HR Projects in programme
  •  Supports internal and external Audit.

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in HR management, Business Administration, Law, or related field.

Minimum 6 years’ progressive experience in the Human Resources function, with supervisory level.

  • Good supervisory, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Required to be able to work under minimal supervision.
  •  Demonstrable understanding of project planning and project cycle management.
  •  Ability to build good working relationships and work effectively with program, field staff and HQ from a distance.
  • High-level of knowledge and practice with Excel.
  • This job requires strong analytical skills to be able to make logical and strategic budget decisions.
