Tadesse Desta Business Group (TDBG) is one of the seasoned and prominent Private companies in Ethiopia. It incorporates Four legal business entities namely; Tadesse Desta Import /Export, Aztad Industrial and Trading PLC , Azeb Tadesse Coffee supplier and TADAB Building material & Trading plc. Under its umbrella. It engages in import/export, Labeling, printing & Packaging, transport and manufacturing business.
Currently, Tadesse Desta Business Group has a diversified business activity among which is in the original endeavor of the coffee processing and export, with export destination of USA, Middle East , Europe, South Korea and China; TDBG has diversified on the supply chain with Coffee roasting to Buku Highland coffee production. In addition, TDBG is in the development stage of a Labeling, printing packaging which has commissioned lately.
We are looking for highly motivated & qualified professionals for the Lead Generation Junior Officer.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Market Research & List Building
- Target Identification: Map out specific target industries, wholesale markets, and corporate buyers internationally and domestically based on strategic criteria.
- Database Creation: Mine public directories, chamber of commerce lists, specialized trade show attendee databases, and professional networks to build highly targeted lead lists.
- Data Verification: Rigorously verify contact information (emails, phone numbers, and direct LinkedIn profiles) using digital verification tools to maintain low bounce rates.
2. Digital Prospecting & Inbound Triaging
- Outbound Execution: Deploy targeted, professional cold outreach campaigns via LinkedIn and email using structured corporate templates.
- Profile Optimization: Manage and optimize professional outreach profiles to maintain high response rates and project corporate authority.
- Inbound Routing: Act as the first point of contact for inbound digital inquiries, grading them against company criteria before routing them to senior team members.
3. CRM Hygiene & Pipeline Administration
- Data Hygiene: Meticulously log all interactions, lead details, and company sizes into the internal database/CRM system.
- Lead Hand-off: Ensure smooth transition of “warm” or interested prospects to senior business development executives for discovery calls.
- Activity Reporting: Track daily and weekly outreach volume, connection rates, and positive response rates to identify bottleneck areas..
- Reporting: Tracking weekly metrics like outbound volume, open/response rates, and the number of leads successfully converted to Qualified Leads.

Educational requirement
- BA Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management, or related fields for 1-2 years of relevant experience in Lead Generation Officer., in manufacturing, import/export, or corporate sectors.
Required Skills
- Analytical skills and a drive for B2B sales skills.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Comfort with advanced web search techniques
- Experience with professional networking platforms (LinkedIn) is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for managing large datasets
- Strategic thinking and business analysis
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
